Collect USDT and USDC payments in Mauritania through a payment link, hosted checkout or API, using the assets and networks enabled for your account.
Stablecoin payments in Mauritania depend on your account, its verification and the assets and networks enabled.

USDCStablecoin payments
Your customers pay in USDT or USDC while you price and keep your accounts in MRU. The checkout shows the asset, network, amount and address for each payment, and your merchant workspace tracks its confirmation. Assets, networks and limits depend on your account and its verification.

The customer sees the asset, network, amount and address to use. Sending on the wrong network can lose funds.
Fulfil only when the payment shows confirmed in your merchant workspace, never on the strength of a screenshot.
Stablecoins are designed to track the US dollar but can deviate. They carry issuer, market and network risks and are not bank deposits.
Register your business in Mauritania and complete the required verification. Enabled features appear in your workspace.
Generate a link, a checkout or an API payment for the order amount.
The customer sends the exact asset on the stated network to the address shown for that payment.
Track the confirmation in your merchant workspace, then process the order.
Mauritania’s currency is the ouguiya (MRU), issued by the Banque Centrale de Mauritanie (BCM), which also supervises banks and financial institutions and organises the foreign-exchange market. If stablecoin payments are enabled for your account, your customer pays in USDT or USDC, while your prices, invoices and books stay in MRU terms. Decide how you convert an MRU price into a stablecoin amount before you send the link, then treat the asset, network and amount shown at checkout as the reference for the order. Stablecoins carry issuer, market and network risk and are not bank deposits.
The BCM’s fintech portal lists the texts it presents as the regulatory framework for fintech and the digitalisation of payments. They include Law No. 2021-014 on electronic payment services and means, and BCM instructions on payment institutions, electronic money institutions and payment service providers. This page does not interpret those texts for stablecoin receipts. Before you start, check with a Mauritanian lawyer or accountant how they apply to your business, along with exchange rules and your tax obligations.
The same BCM page lists Law No. 2017-020 on the protection of personal data and Law No. 2018-022 on electronic transactions. Collect only the customer details you need to deliver and support the order. Keep the order reference, MRU price, asset, network, amount and transaction hash with the matching invoice, so each payment can be reconciled with your MRU accounts later. Ask your adviser which invoicing, retention and data-protection rules apply to your records rather than relying on this summary.
Release goods or services only once the payment shows as confirmed in your ZyndPay workspace. A screenshot, a forwarded message or a transaction hash sent in chat is not proof of payment on its own: check the order itself. If a customer sent the wrong asset, used another network or paid an amount that does not match, do not fulfil on trust. When a refund is due, return it in the same asset and on the same network, to an address the customer confirms, and keep the record with the order.
The Banque Centrale de Mauritanie pages describe the ouguiya, the central bank’s role and the texts it lists for fintech and payments. They do not establish a ZyndPay licence, partnership, regulatory approval, or availability for your account.
