USDCStablecoin payments
Your customers pay in USDT or USDC while you price and keep your accounts in TND. The checkout shows the asset, network, amount and address for each payment, and your merchant workspace tracks its confirmation. Assets, networks and limits depend on your account and its verification.

The customer sees the asset, network, amount and address to use. Sending on the wrong network can lose funds.
Fulfil only when the payment shows confirmed in your merchant workspace, never on the strength of a screenshot.
Stablecoins are designed to track the US dollar but can deviate. They carry issuer, market and network risks and are not bank deposits.
Register your business in Tunisia and complete the required verification. Enabled features appear in your workspace.
Generate a link, a checkout or an API payment for the order amount.
The customer sends the exact asset on the stated network to the address shown for that payment.
Track the confirmation in your merchant workspace, then process the order.
Tunisia’s currency is the Tunisian dinar (TND), put into circulation by the Banque Centrale de Tunisie (BCT) when it began operating in November 1958. If stablecoin payments are enabled for your account, your customers pay in USDT or USDC while your business still prices, invoices and keeps its books in TND terms. Tunisia’s exchange rules are the subject of a reform project that covers crypto-assets, so treat the points below as questions to settle with your bank and advisers before you publish a payment link, not as a description of what the law allows.
In its 2022 annual report, the Commission Tunisienne des Analyses Financières (CTAF), Tunisia’s financial intelligence unit, noted that data on crypto-assets was insufficient owing to the absence of a regulatory framework governing these assets in Tunisia. In March 2024, the Presidency of the Government announced that a cabinet meeting had adopted a draft exchange code whose main axes include authorising crypto-asset transactions, and recalled that the current exchange regulation dates from 21 January 1976. Before taking stablecoin payments, check with the BCT and a Tunisian legal adviser whether a new code is in force and what it requires of your business.
The CTAF’s 2022 report found that peer-to-peer trading is the main way crypto-assets change hands in Tunisia and that stablecoins are the main crypto-assets traded, and its 2024 report describes a dedicated study of crypto-asset use in the country, so the financial intelligence unit is following this activity. Set your prices in TND, and for every payment keep the asset, network, amount, receiving address and transaction reference next to the order and its dinar value. Ask your accountant how these receipts should appear in your books and tax returns.
Release goods or services only once the payment shows as confirmed in your ZyndPay workspace, never on a customer’s screenshot, forwarded message or transaction link. Check that the asset and network match what the checkout displayed: USDT or USDC sent on another network may not arrive where you expect. If you refund, send the same asset on the same network to an address the customer confirms in writing, and keep the refund reference with the original order. Publish these rules in your terms of sale so customers know them before they pay.
The BCT, the Presidency of the Government and the CTAF describe Tunisia’s currency, exchange regulation and crypto-asset risks. These sources do not establish a ZyndPay licence, partnership, regulatory approval, or availability for your account.
