Before you start

Prepare for your trade in Guinea-Bissau.

Guinea-Bissau uses the West African FCFA, and Orange Money is a familiar option for local transfers. When P2P and a matching offer are available for your account, ZyndPay lets you buy or sell USDT (TRC-20) in FCFA. The order shows the payment method to use and the recipient’s details.

01

Escrow on every order

In an open P2P order, the seller's USDT is locked in custodial escrow. The seller releases it after confirming receipt of payment; a dispute follows a separate process. Escrow reduces counterparty risk without removing every risk.

02

Payment methods for your trade

Check the method offered in the listing, then follow the order instructions. A provider operating in your country is not necessarily available for your trade.

03

A dollar-stable balance

View your USDT balance in the wallet. USDT is designed to track the US dollar, but it can deviate and is not a bank deposit.

04

Verification & compliance

Access depends on required verification, compliance checks, and the services enabled for your account and market.

How it works

01

Create your account

Sign up, verify your number and review the services available for your account in Guinea-Bissau.

02

Pick an offer

If P2P is available, browse active offers, compare the rate, limits and payment method, then open an order. The seller's USDT moves into escrow.

03

Buying: pay, then receive

Pay the seller in FCFA using the agreed method, then mark the order paid. The seller checks receipt before releasing USDT to your wallet. If you disagree, use the order's dispute process.

04

Selling: check receipt before release

If you sell, check receipt in your own FCFA account before releasing USDT. A screenshot or a paid status does not prove receipt. Use the dispute process if you disagree.

Buying USDT in Guinea-Bissau: check the Orange Money transfer before you confirm

Guinea-Bissau is a member of the West African Monetary Union and uses the West African CFA franc (XOF). Orange Money describes national transfers in its own service, but an operator offering transfers does not mean its method is enabled on a ZyndPay offer. If a P2P order is available to your account, compare its XOF amount, recipient number and payment method with the Orange Money screen before entering your secret code. The provider transfer and ZyndPay’s custodial USDT escrow are separate steps.

01

A sent transfer cannot be recalled

Orange Money’s terms of use in Guinea-Bissau state that a transfer order, once sent, is irrevocable, and that the sender is responsible for checking the recipient number and amount on each transfer. Use only the recipient and exact amount displayed in the live ZyndPay order. If a later chat message points to a different number or asks for another amount, stop and resolve the mismatch inside the order before sending.

02

Check the SMS and the account history

Orange Money states that each transaction produces an SMS confirmation showing the updated balance, and that customers can check their balance and recent transactions from the Orange Money menu. It also describes an international sub-account kept separate from the main account. Buyers should keep the confirmation SMS; sellers should check the balance and history of the account named in the order rather than rely on a forwarded message.

03

Keep your secret code and the escrow separate

Orange Money says the secret code is personal and must not be shared, so never give it to a seller or to someone claiming to be support. Mark the order paid only after sending the agreed XOF amount. A transfer notification or screenshot alone does not release custodial USDT: the seller confirms receipt or the order follows its dispute process. Do not send a second payment to settle a disagreement in chat.

BCEAO describes the monetary union and its currency; Orange Bissau explains its own Orange Money transfer terms, confirmations and account tools. These sources do not establish a ZyndPay partnership, a supported payment method, or a live offer for your account.

FAQ

Your questions. Answered.

How do I buy USDT in Guinea-Bissau with ZyndPay?

When P2P and a matching offer are available, open an order and pay the seller in FCFA using the displayed method. After checking receipt, the seller releases the escrowed USDT. If there is a disagreement, use the dispute process.

Which mobile money payment methods are offered in Guinea-Bissau?

Check the listings in Wallet for the methods offered to your account. Availability depends on active offers and applicable checks.

Is it safe?

A P2P order uses custodial escrow: the seller's USDT is locked before payment, then released when the seller confirms receipt. A dispute may require a separate decision. This reduces some risks without eliminating them. Always verify the offer, recipient and displayed instructions.

What are the fees?

The fee, rate and amount to receive are shown in the app before each order. Review them before proceeding.
