USDCStablecoin payments
Your customers pay in USDT or USDC while you price and keep your accounts in DJF. The checkout shows the asset, network, amount and address for each payment, and your merchant workspace tracks its confirmation. Assets, networks and limits depend on your account and its verification.

The customer sees the asset, network, amount and address to use. Sending on the wrong network can lose funds.
Fulfil only when the payment shows confirmed in your merchant workspace, never on the strength of a screenshot.
Stablecoins are designed to track the US dollar but can deviate. They carry issuer, market and network risks and are not bank deposits.
Register your business in Djibouti and complete the required verification. Enabled features appear in your workspace.
Generate a link, a checkout or an API payment for the order amount.
The customer sends the exact asset on the stated network to the address shown for that payment.
Track the confirmation in your merchant workspace, then process the order.
Djibouti's legal-tender currency is the Djibouti franc (DJF), issued exclusively by the Banque Centrale de Djibouti under a currency board in which each franc issued must be covered by its US dollar equivalent. If stablecoin payments are enabled for your account, customers pay in USDT or USDC, while your business keeps setting prices, invoices and accounts in DJF terms. A stablecoin is not DJF and not a bank deposit: it carries issuer, market and network risk, so decide how you will record each payment before you share a payment link.
The Banque Centrale de Djibouti has published Circular No. 2025-01 setting the regime for crypto-asset service providers (PSAV) in the Republic of Djibouti, and anti-money laundering Law No. 178/AN/25/9ème L states that PSAV are subject to the central bank's prior approval. These texts govern service providers such as crypto-asset exchange, transfer and custody services; they do not say that any given business or payment provider is approved. If your own activity goes beyond accepting payment for goods or services, check with the central bank or a qualified adviser.
Law No. 178/AN/25/9ème L on combating money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation defines virtual assets and lists virtual asset service providers among the entities it covers, alongside other financial and non-financial professions. Ask an adviser whether any of its obligations apply to your business. In any case, keep an internal record for each stablecoin sale: the order, the DJF price, the asset and network, the amount received and the workspace confirmation, so you can explain the transaction to your accountant or to an authority that asks.
Release goods or services only once the payment shows as confirmed in your ZyndPay workspace, never on the strength of a screenshot, a transaction hash pasted in chat or a message saying the customer has paid. Check that the asset and network match the checkout before treating an order as settled. If you refund, send the same asset on the same network to an address the customer confirms, and note the DJF value you used. Set out in your terms of sale how stablecoin disputes and partial refunds are handled.
These Banque Centrale de Djibouti sources describe Djibouti's currency and its crypto-asset and anti-money laundering rules. They do not establish a ZyndPay licence, partnership, regulatory approval, or availability for your account.
FAQ
If stablecoin payments are enabled for your account after verification, you can create USDT and USDC links, checkouts or API payments. Availability depends on your account and the checks that apply.
No. Customers pay from the wallet of their choice, following the asset, network and address shown on the payment page.
You keep your prices and accounts in DJF. The stablecoin amount to pay is shown to the customer before payment; check the terms and fees in your workspace before you start.
Refund in the same asset and on the same network, to an address the customer confirms. Keep the reference of the original payment.
No official source we reviewed describes them as legal tender. The Banque Centrale de Djibouti states that issuing the national currency, which has legal-tender status, is its exclusive privilege. It is therefore sensible to keep your prices and accounts in DJF terms, and to check the tax or accounting treatment of stablecoin receipts with a qualified adviser.
