Before you start

Prepare for your trade in Niger.

In Niger, Moov Money is a familiar option for everyday FCFA transfers. When P2P and a matching offer are available for your account, ZyndPay lets you buy or sell USDT (TRC-20) in FCFA. The order shows the payment method to use and the recipient’s details.

01

Escrow on every order

In an open P2P order, the seller's USDT is locked in custodial escrow. The seller releases it after confirming receipt of payment; a dispute follows a separate process. Escrow reduces counterparty risk without removing every risk.

02

Payment methods for your trade

Check the method offered in the listing, then follow the order instructions. A provider operating in your country is not necessarily available for your trade.

03

A dollar-stable balance

View your USDT balance in the wallet. USDT is designed to track the US dollar, but it can deviate and is not a bank deposit.

04

Verification & compliance

Access depends on required verification, compliance checks, and the services enabled for your account and market.

How it works

01

Create your account

Sign up, verify your number and review the services available for your account in Niger.

02

Pick an offer

If P2P is available, browse active offers, compare the rate, limits and payment method, then open an order. The seller's USDT moves into escrow.

03

Buying: pay, then receive

Pay the seller in FCFA using the agreed method, then mark the order paid. The seller checks receipt before releasing USDT to your wallet. If you disagree, use the order's dispute process.

04

Selling: check receipt before release

If you sell, check receipt in your own FCFA account before releasing USDT. A screenshot or a paid status does not prove receipt. Use the dispute process if you disagree.

Buying USDT in Niger: check the Moov Money transfer

Niger is a member of the West African Monetary Union and uses the CFA franc (XOF). Moov Africa Niger presents Moov Money as its mobile financial service for its own subscribers, with national and international transfers in the same menu. An operator offering transfers does not mean its method is enabled on a ZyndPay offer. If a P2P order is available to your account, start from that order: compare its payment method, recipient number and exact FCFA amount with your Moov Money screen. The Moov Money transfer and ZyndPay’s custodial USDT escrow are separate steps.

01

Choose the national transfer the order asks for

Moov Africa Niger offers national and international transfers from the same Moov Money menu. Before confirming, check that you are making a national XOF transfer to the exact number shown in your P2P order, for the exact amount. If a seller later asks for another number or route in chat, do not switch; resolve it in the order first.

02

Your secret code stays with you

A BCEAO surveillance report on mobile-money payment services found that reported fraud was mainly social engineering, including stolen codes in off-network transfers and fake prize or job offers. Never share your Moov Money secret code or enter a code someone sends you in a P2P chat. The BCEAO also states that it does not take part in commercial transactions between individuals, so a message using its name to unlock or speed up an order is a warning sign.

03

A notification alone does not release escrow

Mark the order paid only after the agreed XOF transfer. A transfer notification or screenshot alone does not release USDT: the seller checks receipt in their own Moov Money account and then releases, or the order follows its dispute process. Keep the transaction reference and add evidence to the order. Do not send a second payment to settle a disagreement in chat; if the transfer status is unclear, check it with Moov Africa Niger through its official agencies or customer service.

The BCEAO describes the regional currency, mobile-money fraud patterns and its own role; Moov Africa Niger describes its own Moov Money services and agencies. These sources do not establish a ZyndPay partnership, a supported payment method, or a live offer for your account.

FAQ

Your questions. Answered.

How do I buy USDT in Niger with ZyndPay?

When P2P and a matching offer are available, open an order and pay the seller in FCFA using the displayed method. After checking receipt, the seller releases the escrowed USDT. If there is a disagreement, use the dispute process.

Which mobile money payment methods are offered in Niger?

Check the listings in Wallet for the methods offered to your account. Availability depends on active offers and applicable checks.

Is it safe?

A P2P order uses custodial escrow: the seller's USDT is locked before payment, then released when the seller confirms receipt. A dispute may require a separate decision. This reduces some risks without eliminating them. Always verify the offer, recipient and displayed instructions.

What are the fees?

The fee, rate and amount to receive are shown in the app before each order. Review them before proceeding.
