Payment fee and net amount calculator

How much remains after fees? Enter the gross payment, percentage fee and fixed fee from your agreement. See the result immediately. This calculator is not a ZyndPay quote.

Calculate your scenario

The prefilled values are fictional. Replace them with the fees in your agreement.

Estimated net amountF CFA 9,800Estimated fees : F CFA 200

Calculated locally without sending or storing amounts. Rounded to a whole franc for XOF and cents for EUR and USD. Excludes FX, taxes, withdrawal fees, refunds and contractual minimums.

How to use it

  1. Choose the payment currency. Changing the currency does not convert the amount: enter the corresponding amount again if needed.
  2. Enter the percentage and fixed fee for your payment method, market and account. The fictional example is not a commercial tariff.
  3. Read fees and proceeds separately. Formula: fees = amount × percentage / 100 + fixed fee; net = amount − fees. The calculator rounds the amount and fixed fee, then the percentage fee to the currency unit or cent.
  4. Compare with your provider’s breakdown. Minimums, caps, tiers and different rounding rules require a separate calculation.

A worked example

Fictional XOF example: 10,000 × 2% + 0 = 200 in fees. Estimated net: 9,800 XOF. Adding a fixed fee of 100 XOF reduces estimated proceeds to 9,700 XOF.

Scope and limitations

This calculation covers only a percentage fee and a fixed fee per transaction. Taxes, FX, withdrawal fees, reserves, refunds, disputes and subscriptions are excluded. Fees can exceed a small payment, in which case the negative result is displayed. Your provider’s contractual rules take precedence.

Wave’s page illustrates pricing with a daily threshold. Such a schedule cannot always be represented by one percentage; check your applicable agreement. No Wave tariff is preloaded here. Wave Business: an example of tiered pricing

Move from manual tracking to a merchant workspace

To accept payments with ZyndPay, review your account terms or request a tailored proposal. Your merchant workspace provides the applicable fee breakdown and transaction outcome. Use this calculator to understand a scenario.
