USDCStablecoin payments
Your customers pay in USDT or USDC while you price and keep your accounts in XOF. The checkout shows the asset, network, amount and address for each payment, and your merchant workspace tracks its confirmation. Assets, networks and limits depend on your account and its verification.

The customer sees the asset, network, amount and address to use. Sending on the wrong network can lose funds.
Fulfil only when the payment shows confirmed in your merchant workspace, never on the strength of a screenshot.
Stablecoins are designed to track the US dollar but can deviate. They carry issuer, market and network risks and are not bank deposits.
Register your business in Togo and complete the required verification. Enabled features appear in your workspace.
Generate a link, a checkout or an API payment for the order amount.
The customer sends the exact asset on the stated network to the address shown for that payment.
Track the confirmation in your merchant workspace, then process the order.
Togo is a member of the West African Monetary Union, whose common currency, the CFA franc (XOF), is issued by the BCEAO, the regional central bank. If stablecoin payments are enabled for your account, your customers pay in USDT or USDC, while your business continues to set prices, issue invoices and keep its books in XOF terms. Decide how you convert a XOF price into a stablecoin amount before you send a payment link, and record both figures for each sale. The points below draw on official regional and Togolese sources.
At an international conference it held in Dakar on 8 May 2026, the BCEAO, the central bank for Togo and the other WAMU states, pointed to the high volatility of crypto-assets, their cross-border dimension, and issues of cybersecurity, consumer protection and anti-money laundering. Its Governor said the BCEAO has set up a committee to draft a regulatory framework for crypto-assets in the WAMU. The WAMU uniform anti-money laundering law published by the BCEAO also requires virtual asset service providers to obtain prior approval or authorization. These texts are evolving: check with a legal adviser in Togo how they apply to your activity.
The Office Togolais des Recettes (OTR) states that the standardized invoice (facture normalisée), introduced by the 2015 finance law, obliges every economic operator within its scope to use only that invoice for its transactions. A sale settled in USDT or USDC is still a sale: issue the invoice your tax regime requires, in XOF, and keep the stablecoin amount, asset, network and transaction reference alongside it. Invoicing rules can change, so check with your accountant or the OTR how stablecoin-settled sales should be invoiced and recorded.
Release goods or services only once the payment shows as confirmed in your ZyndPay workspace. A customer screenshot, a forwarded message or a transaction hash sent in chat is not proof of payment. Check that the asset and network match what the checkout displayed: a payment sent on another network may not arrive as expected. If you agree to a refund, send it in the same asset and on the same network as the original payment, to an address the customer confirms, and keep a record linked to the order.
These sources describe Togo's currency, regional rules on crypto-assets and virtual asset service providers, and Togolese invoicing requirements. They do not establish a ZyndPay licence, partnership, regulatory approval, or availability for your account.
